Krisa received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, from Iowa State University, with a minor in Family Services.

Krisa started her journey working as a DSP at Mainstream Living during college. Krisa has since worked as a Behavioral Technician at Balance Autism, working with children to learn new skills and gain greater independence. She was first introduced to Discovery Living during a few summer internships. In 2018, Krisa started at Discovery Living as direct care support before becoming an Associate Coordinator in 2019. In 2023, she assumed the role of Community Living Coordinator. Krisa is excited to continue to support community inclusion and build relationships within the Discovery family.
